Rock Springs Daily Rocket-Miner, Aug 2, 1980 LYDIA ELLEN HENDERSON Funeral services for Lydia Ellen Henderson, 85, of 328 R St., were held Wednesday, July 30, at the First Assembly of God. The Rev. Rodney Gish officiated with assistance from Mrs. Henderson’s son-in-law, the Rev. Norman Webster. Burial was in the Mountain View Section of the Rock Springs Municipal Cemetery. Pallbearers were John Ray Henderson, William E. Henderson Jr., Charles Ray Henderson II, William Ray Muehlhauser, Robert Lee Muehlhauser and James Currier. Mrs. Henderson, a resident of Rock Springs for 44 years, died Saturday, July 26, at Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County after being ill for two weeks. She was born September 9, 1894, the daughter of the late Eli and Susan Ann Robb Hursman. She attended schools at Higbee, Missouri and married John Ray Henderson in Higbee on Oct. 5, 1912. He preceded her in death on December 2, 1956. Mrs. Henderson was a member of the First Assembly of God and was a retired laundry operator for Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County. Survivors include three sons, William Eli Henderson of Rock Springs, Charles Ray Henderson, Rock Springs, and Norman Dale Henderson of Badger Basin; two daughters, Mrs. Norman (Mary Frances) Webster of New Orleans, La. and Mrs. John (Emma) Henderson of Roy, Utah; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Henderson was preceded in death by one daughter, Annie Elizabeth Muehlhauser, who died Oct. 18, 1963; one son, John Henderson Jr., who died June 2, 1973; six brothers, George William Hursman, Charles Abram Hursman, Richard Elonzo Hursman, Robert Lee Hursman, Eli Jasper Hursman and James David Hursman and two sister, Mary Ann Kirby and Lula Farnces Andreatta.
