Laura Marie Bose Portage Laura Marie Bose, age 92, of Portage, passed away Thursday, December 22, 2005 at Fountain View Nursing Home. She was born March 26, 1913 in Osceola, NE and was the daughter of Charles and Anna Reeh. She was married to Carl P. Bose on February 26, 1936, Lincoln, NE and he preceded her in death on December 23, 1963. She was employed as a Time Clerk for U.S. Steel Gary Works for 28 years. She enjoyed flowers, gardening, sewing, shopping and traveling. She was a very active member of the Bonner Senior Center and a member of the Portage First Presbyterian Church and was a very devoted mother to her children. She is survived by two sons: Thomas L. Bose and Charles F. Bose, both of Portage; one daughter, Carol A. (John R. Elliott) Longmore-Elliott of Amherst, OH; two grandchildren: Michael Schard-Bose of LaPorte and Christopher Bose of Plano, TX; three sisters: Alice, Margaret Ann and Mildred, all of NE; five nieces; one nephew; one great-niece and one great-nephew. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Carl P. Bose and one brother, Raymond Reeh. A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 24, 2005 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Engel Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Monday, December 26, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at Engel Funeral Home, 2700 Willowcreek Road, Portage, Indiana, 46368. Interment at Calvary Cemetery, Portage.
