Al "Cliff" Kisner, 59, Hays, died March 4, 1988 at his home. He was born July 30, 1928 in Hays to Alex and Pauline (Schwalie) Kisner. He married Bernida Jacobs on May 25, 1954 in La Crosse. He was a retired Sharon Springs police officer. He was an Army veteran of World War II and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the American Legion. Survivors include his wife, of the home; and Vicki, Hays; three brothers, Aloysius of Hoisington, Joe of Wellington, Isidore of Hays; two sisters, Rosie Pfannenstiel and Pauline Herl, both of Hays; one grandchild. Funeral services were March 7 at the church, with Father Paulinus Karlin officiating; burial in St. Joseph Cemetery, with military graveside honors by the American Legion. Rush County News
