The Weekly Intelligencer, March 17, 1894 Lexington, Mo. DEATHS Died, at Little Rock, Arkansas, March 12, of pneumonia, Mrs. Kate Graham, wife of Mr. L.B. Atkeison. The visit of the angel of death was not unexpected. For several days the patient grappled with the dreaded disease, until at last she was forced to succumb to its pitiless decree. Her mother, Mrs. Graham, was with her when she died, and is herself sick at Little Rock. Albert Graham, brother of the deceased, had to remain at Little Rock with his mother. Mrs. Atkeison was the beloved daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.A. Graham of this city, who in this dark hour of bereavement have the heartfelt sympathy of this entire community. Here it is that in childhood days she formed the warmest of friendships of her life, and her death comes as a burden to many a Lexington heart. She combined all the virtues of true womanhood. In the home, she was all that a noble mother and wife should be, generous, forgiving, kind, affectionate and indulgent. In the social world she carried the same characteristics. She leaves a husband and three children. Her life work is ended and He who "doeth all things well" has called her to join Him in that home not made with hands. Earth's loss is heaven's gain. The funeral services were conducted at the Methodist church yesterday afternoon, and the remains were buried at Machpelah cemetery, a large number of our citizens showing the last sad token of respect.
