Virginia "Breezy" C. Wright, age 94 of Ashland, WI passed away Monday, Apr 2, 2018 surrounded by her loving family at Court Manor in Ashland. Virginia was born Jan 6, 1924 in Chicago, IL. On Nov 20, 1945 she was united in marriage to Robert P. Wright in Ashland. She was a telephone operator for many years and a homemaker raising five children. Survivors include her sons: Paul of Sun City, Arizona, James (Cathy) of Tower, MN, Gerald (Julie) of Chelmsford, Massachusetts and Jay of Ashland, WI; grandchildren: Robert (Tina), Richard (Jaclyn), Cassandra (Dustin), Todd (Laura), Julie (Kenny), Kelsey and Samantha; great-grandchildren: Per, Ingrid, Valerie, Dominic, Cooper & Gus and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Robert on Feb 5, 2005, daughter, Kathleen and great-granddaughter, Kendra. A Mass of Christian Burial for Virginia will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, Apr 7, 2018 at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Ashland with Father Ducanh Pham, O.F.M. as Celebrant. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday at the Church in Ashland and continue until the hour of service. Interment will take place in Saint Agnes Cemetery, Ashland. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Mountain Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Ashland and Mellen, WI.
