The Enid Events Enid, Garfield Co., OK June 2, 1938 Page 2, section A, column 2 RECENT DEATHS HROMAS – Funeral services for Antone Hromas, 66, were held Friday afternoon in the Christian Church at Waukomis, with burial in the Waukomis cemetery. The Brown Funeral Home cared for the body. Mr. Hromas died Wednesday night at his home near Waukomis. He had lived in the community for many years. He is survived by his wife; five sons, Joe Hromas, chairman of the board of commissioners of Garfield county; Antone, Jr., Charles L., Lewis W., and Frank H. Hromas, all residing in the Waukomis community; a daughter, Mrs. Bessie Vaverka of Hennessey; a sister, Mrs. Mary Semrad of Waukomis and a brother, Joe Hromas of Ansley, Nebr.
