Bio

Daughter of John and Sarah Honea McFarling. She was born in Altoga, TX and passed away at Texoma Medical Center. She married Leo B Lubbers on August 22, 1948 in McKinney. She earned an Associate's Degree from Grayson County College in middle age and then taught adult education for several years and was able to help many people earn their GEDs. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 52 years, Leo; and seven brothers and sisters. She leaves her brother, Bob McFarling of Denton; three children, Ron Lubbers and his wife, Jana of Sherman, Pat Reeves and husband, Dennis of Sherman, and Mike Lubbers and wife, Stacy of Sherman; six grandchildren, Justin Lubbers, Jessica Lubbers, Jason Melton, Brian Hall, Shauna Chilcoat, and Joe Hall; and ten great grandchildren.
