Graveside services for Ann Matilda Godde, 87, of Killeen will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Killeen City Cemetery with the Rev. John Hogan officiating. Mrs. Godde died July 11, 2002, at her residence, following a short illenss. She was born Aug. 12, 1914, in Moody, the daughter of the late Thomas Andres and Mattie Green Coulter, who were early pioneers in the Moody community. Mrs. Godde graduated from the Troy school system. She married J. Harold Godde Nov. 24, 1946. Mrs. Godde had lived in Killeen since 1959, where she was a member of the Liberty Hill Baptist Church and the American Legion Auxiliary. She was also a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary in Harker Heights and a volunteer at the Olan E. Teague Veterans' Center in Temple. Survivors include her husband of Killeen; a son, Billye B. Eakin of Nolanville; a daughter, E. Earline Williams of Belton; a sister, Dollie Collins of Temple; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Godde was also preceded in death by six brothers and a sister.
