Martha Irene "Dolly" Collins, age 100, of Temple passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at a local care center. She was born on June 2, 1917 in McLennan County the daughter of Thomas and Martha Coulter. A visitation will take place on Sunday, January 14, 2018 from 1:00 PM until the time of service at 2:00 PM at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home 3110 Airport Rd. Temple, Texas 76504. A graveside service will be held on Monday, January 15, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Moody Cemetery in Moody, Texas. Mrs. Collins is a 1936 graduate of Troy High School and was a 65 plus year member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Temple. She is survived by her children, Rose Morris and husband Larry of Temple, Royce Collins of Temple, and Tim Collins and wife Shirley of Belton, 10 grandchildren, Lori, Jamie, Kurt, Jeffery, Lisa, Chad, Elissa, Christie, Mandy, and Dustin, and many great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Roy Lee Collins, son John Paul Collins, a granddaughter Jackie Collins, parents Thomas and Martha Coulter, and 6 brothers and 3 sisters.
