The funeral for Keith Winsor Hannah, 52, Beaver Crossing, was held July 8 at the United Methodist Church, Beaver Crossing. Rev. Wayne Schreurs and Rev. E. B. Stewart officiated, with Mrs. Alma Ganshorn as organist and Paul Gels, soloist. Casket bearers were Lyle Miller, Lyle Henke, Richard Wambold, Donald Granski, Harvey Walden and John Finley. Internment was in the Beaver Crossing Cemetery, with military services. Hannah is survived by his wife, Velma; a son, John, Axtell; two daughters, Mrs. Leonard Grantski (Linda), Beaver Crossing; Mrs. Robert Mathews (Mary Lynne), Kokomo, Ind.; four grandchildren and four step grandchildren. Hannah, was a member of the United Methodist Church, American Legion and Flowing Well Grange. He was born at Beaver Crossing, May 6, 1921, the son of John and Jessie Hannah. He attended Beaver Crossing high school and Peru Teachers College. During World War II he served three years overseas. He married Velma Knerr of Beaver Crossing on June 9, 1946. They lived In Lincoln for a time where he was employed by Burlington Railroad. In 1955 the family moved to a farm north of Beaver Crossing. Because of impaired health he retired from farming five years ago and moved to Beaver Crossing. Hannah died July 5 in Seward.
