John Harrison Hannah, son of Joseph W. and Sarah Lyons Hannah, was born March 15, 1889, at Beaver Crossing, Nebr., and passed away Dec. 2, 1958, at the hospital in Friend, Nebr., at the age of 69 years, 8 months, 17 days. He spent his boyhood on a farm near Beaver Crossing. He united with the Methodist church as a young man and was recognized recently for a 50 year membership pin. Dec. 6, 1910, he was united in marriage to Jessie B. Winsor. To this union were born two sons, Garth and Keith, who with their families reside in the vicinity of Beaver Crossing. "Harry" as he was known leaves to mourn, two sons, two daughters-in-law, six grandchildren, two great grandchildren, one sister, Myrtle Lierman of Moorefield, Nebr., one brother, Earl Hannah of Akron, Colo. His wife, parents, three brothers, James, Abner, Mark; two sisters, Nellie Barnes, and Blanche Buckingham preceded him in death. Funeral services were conducted Saturday afternoon, Dec. 6, at the Beaver Crossing Methodist church by Rev. E. B. Stewart, Pastor. Music was provided by Mrs. Clarence Sonday, organist and Miss Marguerite Ahlschwede, soloist, who sang, "In The Garden," and "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere." Pallbearers were: Orin Henke, Ray Gard, Louis Tesar, Kenneth Weber, Elmer Krasser, Harvey Walden. Ushers were Lyle Henke, Dale' Carr, Dick Christian.
