Bio

Bertie Blanche DeBusk wa s born July 8, 1899, at Lewis, Iowa , and died October 8, 1923, at her home near Sargent , Nebraska , aged 24 years and 3 months. She was a daughter of Lewis L, and Ora DeBusk . With them she came to Custer county , Nebraska , when she was about a year old, and she has resided here ever since with the exception of two years, which were spent in South Dakota . Her mother died when she was four years of age. She united with the Christian Church when she was twelve years of age , and she has kept her faith ever since. On January 30th, 1918, she was united in marriage to Elmer C. Gallaher. To this union were born four children, three of whom survive her. She also leaves to mourn their loss loving husband , her father, two brothers, and her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J. H. DeBusk of this city.
