Tillie Marie (Bohaty) Wambold, 87, of Friend, formerly of Beaver Crossing, died Tuesday, May 6, 2003. She was born near Bruno, Nebraska, on Apr 25, 1916. She was a graduate of Beaver Crossing High School, in 1931. They lived on a farm near Beaver Crossing. She was a housemother for White Hall, in Lincoln, and managed the Corner Cafe, in Beaver Crossing. She was a former dietary supervisor at Friend Hospital Annex and was a member, former Christian Church, in Beaver Crossing. Survivors: beloved friend, Leonard Weber, Friend; grandsons, spouses, Robin and Cheryl Wambold, Seward, Robert Wambold, Council Bluffs, Iowa, James and Suse Wambold, Lincoln; granddaughters, spouse, Angela and David Rhoads, Vancouver, Wash., Donna Otte and special friend, Bill Wood, both Seward; seven great-grandsons; three great-granddaughters; daughter-in-law, Ardys Wambold, Beaver Crossing; sisters, brothers-in-law, Deloris and Earl Scott, Jeraldine Rut, both Friend. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Walter; son, Richard; foster daughter, Charlotte; granddaughter, Debra; brother, Jerry Bohaty. Burial in Beaver Crossing Cemetery.
