Ramond F. Pliner, age 81 years, of Bloom City, passed away on Thursday, August 4, 2011 at his home. He was born on July 8, 1930 to Joseph J. and Lena (Jelinek) Pliner at Yuba, Wisconsin. Ray graduated from the Richland Center High School in 1948. He operated the family farm until 1994 when he sold the farm and moved to Bloom City. He was a milk hauler from 1999 to 2008 for AMPI and Foremost Farms. He also enjoyed gardening and feeding the birds. Survivors include a special friend, Shirley Grant of Bloom City a sister, Betty Harriman of Renton, Washington a niece, Kimberly (Larry) Alhadeff of New Castle WA. nephews, Kevin Harriman of Renton WA and Lydon (Peg) Harriman of Post Falls, Idaho His best buddy, the dog, Popeye and 2 cats, Sammy and Daisy. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Richard Pliner. Funeral Services held Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2011 at Picha Funeral Home in Hillsboro, Ws. Burial is in the Czech's National Cemetery near Yuma.
