Bio

The funeral for Alvie Lewis Beasley, 72, Route 2, Phil Campbell, will be at 2:30 p.m. today at Oak Grove Freewill Baptist Church in Franklin County, with the Revs. Terrell Bragwell and Raymond Kirby officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery, Spry Funeral Home, Russellville, directing. The body will be placed in the church one hour before the service. He died Friday morning at Humana Hospital, Russellville, after a sudden illness. He was a retired mobil home plant worker and a member of New Harmony Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Nellie Beasley, Phil Campbell; sons, Dewey E. Beasley, Fulton, Miss., Eugene Beasley, Russellville, Franklin D. Beasley, Hubert R. Beasley, both of Phil Campbell; daughter, Mrs, Kathy Bridges, Cedartown, Ga.; sister, Mrs. Velma Hutcheson, Phil Campbell; brother, Arthur Beasley, Russellville; half brother, Leonard Kimbrough, Phil Campbell; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
