Samuel was the son of David Byrd and Jane Moorehead Byrd. Samuel was the husband of Elizabeth Horn. Samuel was the father of Mary Elizabeth, Emily, Lucinda, Jane Malissa"June", Nuscissa"Narcissa", Pleasant Wesley, William M."?Uriah?", Samuel Zedock, and Jeremiah David Byrd. Note: It is thought that Samuel died around Collin or Hunt Co.,Tx. around 1857, does anyone know where he is buried?
