Bio
Norma Jean Meyer 73 formerly of Jefferson City passed away August 16, 2011 at her family farm near Bunceton Mo. She was born January 9, 1938 in Jefferson City the daughter of the late Slyvester and Violet (Courtright) Geuetal. Norma attended Jefferson City High School. Over the years Norma was active in St Mary's Health Center's Auxiliary. teaching acrobics at the YMCA. She was avid bicyclist. She loved flowers and horseback riding. She raised cattle and horses at her farm near bunceton Norma was a person who had a big heart and was always helping others. Norma was a loving mother and grandmother, and is survived by her two sons; Jeff Meyer of Jefferson City, and Steve Meyer and wife Cheryl of Russellville; one daughter, Lisa Brinkley of Overland Park KS. and three grandchildren, Dustin, Susan, and Victor Meyer. Friends will be received from 1-3p.m. Sunday August 21, 2011 at Houser Millard Funeral home where funeral services will follow at 3p.m. with Pastor Joe Skiles officiating. Interment will follow in the Riverview Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the family of St Mary;s Health Center Auxiliary.
