Clifton Ray Phillips Clifton Ray Phillips from Pilot Point, passed away, Sunday, August 14, 2011, at Pilot Point Care Center. He was born September 12, 1926 in Anna, Texas to Johnny and Delia Taylor Phillips. A graveside service will be held Thursday, August 18, at 9:00 am, at the Pilot Point Community Cemetery with the Rev. Johnny Johnston officiating. He is survived by his wife Neva of Pilot Point; three sons, Archie Phillips of Pilot Point, Craig Phillips of Whitesboro, Jeffrey Phillips of Jackson, Michigan; one daughter, Patty Patterson of Coopertino, California; and five grandchildren. He is preceeded in death by his parents and six brothers. Services are under the direction of Huff/Slay Funeral Home in Pilot Point. The Denton Record-Chronicle, Wednesday, August 17, 2011
