Harriette Maria (nee Arnold) Peckham, 77, formerly of Washington, NY, passed away on Wednesday, July 25, 1917 at the Hotel Gramatan in Bronxville. Beloved wife of the late United States Supreme Court Associate Justice Rufus Williams Peckham. Cherished daughter of the late Harriet Maria (nee Welles) and Daniel Hinckley Arnold, who was the president of the Mercantile Bank in New York. Devoted mother of the late Henry Arnold and Rufus Wheeler. Loving grandmother of 3 grandchildren. She was survived by a daughter-in-law, Catherine Longworth (nee Anderson) Peckham. The funeral services were officiated on Friday, July 27, 1917 at 2:30 PM in Saint Peter's Church, 107 State Street, Albany, NY 12207. Interment followed at the Albany Rural Cemetery.
