Greenville (Texas) Herald Banner, Friday, 22 Jan 1982, page A2, Deaths, Wilemon Roland Wilemon, 83, of 4504 Morrison, died Thursday at 9:30 a.m. at his home. Funeral service will be today at 2 p.m. at Coker-Mathews Chapel with the Rev. Truman Walker and Dr. L. J. Power officiating. Burial will be at Tidwell Cemetery. Born Oct. 19, 1898, in Hunt County, he was the son of C. C. and Beulah Lee Spoonemore Wilemon. He was veteran of World War II, retired from Good Luck Oil Co. in Dallas and a member of Dallas Baptist Temple. Surviving are his sisters, Mrs. W. O. Miller of Greenville, Rosa Miller of Merkel and Ola Mae Land of Comfort; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister. Pallbears (sic) will be Mr. Wilemon’s nephews, Gerald Williams, Neil Williams, Jimmy Williams, Earl Jackson, Bobby Hawthorne and Donald Bennett. Coker-Mathews Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
