Greenville (Texas) Herald Banner, Wednesday, 29 Nov 1978, page A2, Deaths, Miller Funeral Services for Willie J. Miller, 72, who died suddenly Tuesday in a local hospital, will be held Thursday at 3:30 p.m. in the Sorrells and Sons Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in the Tidwell Cemetery with Rev. W. O. Majors officiating. Miller was born Nov. 1, 1906, in Hunt County to Florence Ragan and George N. Miller. He was a member of the Baptist church. Survivors include three brothers, Guy Miller and Joe Miller of Greenville and Doss R. Miller of Houston, four sisters, Georgia B. Giles, Ouisa May, Lois Stone, and Leta Vlevins (sic), all of Fort Worth, and several nephews and nieces and other relatives. His parents, one sister and one brother preceded him in death.
