BEE (sic) DIED NORTH OF TOWN Lee R. Beane, 37, died at his home north of Breenville (sic) last Sunday and the body buried in the Tidwell cemetery. The deceased was a member of the Baptist Church and is survived by his wife and several relatives. Greenville (Texas) Evening Banner, Mon, 8 Feb 1937, page 6, Lee Beane Dies; Services Today Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock this afternoon for Lee R. Beane, 37, well known Hunt-co farmer, who died at his home on Greenville Route 1 Sunday. Burial was in Tidwell cemetery. Mr. Beane had lived in Hunt-co all of his life and had hundreds of friends who will be saddened because of his death. He was a conscienious Christian and had been a member of the Baptist church for some time. Surviving is his wife and other relatives. Greenville (Texas) Evening Banner, Wed, 10 Feb 1937, page 4, Services held for Ross Beane Services were held Monday at the Tidwell church for Ross Beane, 37, well known Hunt-co citizen. Rev. Weldon Drake, pastor of the church, Rev. Voyles and Rev. Charles Hart conducted the services. Pallbearers were Tom Williams, L.H. Whatley, Ed Lamm, Clem Holloway, Ernest Graham, Herbert Spradling, Horace Spray and Barney Phillips. Lee Ross Beane was born March 4, 1899, at Heflin, Ala., and came to Texas with his parents when he was an infant, and he had since resided in this section. He was married to Nannie B. Robinson and to this union two children were born, Mary Joyce and Bonnie Lee. In his youth Mr. Beane joined the Baptist church and was a member of the Tidwell Baptist church at the time of his death. He is survived by his wife and children, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. R.P. Beane and these brothers and sisters: Orlen Beane, Terrell; Van Reah Beane, Buford Beane, Edward Beane, Maurine Beane, Chloe Beane and Clava Beane, all of Tidwell.
