CELEBRATING THE LIFE OF MARY JOYCE BEANE PATTERSON July 18, 1924 - June 22, 2014 First Baptist Church Richardson, TX Monday, June 30, 2014 2:00 pm Mary Joyce Patterson was born on July 18, 1924 outside of Greenville, Texas to parents Lee Ross and Nannie B. Beane and was the oldest of two girls. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Max Harland Patterson, who passed away on April 29, 2014. As a young woman she enjoyed artwork along with being in a bowling league and playing basketball. Joyce was a devoted wife and mother. Joyce and Max were members of First Baptist Church Richardson since 1956, and were very active in the Preschool Ministry. She worked in the church nursery for over 45 years where she made every adult and child she came in contact with feel welcome. Joyce passed from this life into eternity to join Max in the late morning hours of June 22, 2014. She is survived by her son Keith Patterson and wife, Patty; daughter, Karla Younkman and husband, Rick; grandchildre, Christina Taylor and husband Brandon, Timmy Patterson, Ashley Younkman and Landon Younkman; and great-granddaughter Addison Taylor.
