Bio
Glenna Jones Hooley,78, of Salem, longtime Pleasant Grove resident passed away Friday, August 5, 2011 of complications from cancer. Glenna was born December 18, 1932 in Price to Parley and Venola Hansen Jones. Glenna attended shools in Lehi and graduated from Lehi High School in 1952. She was crowned Centential Queen in 1952. She married Douglas A. Hooley on February 20, 1954 and spent 57 wonderful married years together. She especially enjoyed the winters they spent together in Arizona. Glenna worked for IHC as a medical secretary and spent many years at both American Fork and Utah Valley Hospitals. She was an active member of the LDS Church and served faithfully in many callings during her life. She is survived by her husband Doug; daughter, Marta (Mike)Tripp, Idaho; five grandchildren: Dustin Tripp, Misty (Chris) Lundin, Krista Tripp, Brandon Tripp, and Marista Tripp; three great-grandchildren: Liam, Ella, and Harmony. Glenna was loved by all who knew her. She was the most beautiful woman inside and out. Glenna will be missed greatly by her family and friends.
