Bio

Early Life: Merlin was born February 1, 1950, to Horace Darrow and Venola Hansen Bone. Life's Work/Service/Interests: He enjoyed playing the drums, fishing, playing with his cat and spending time with his family. He was a member of the original Saddleboogie Band and played drums professionally in Utah and Kansas. Merlin Horace Bone returned home to a loving Heavenly Father on April 21, 2015. Survived By: His wife, Vicki Bone; his daughters: Jessica (Robert) Collins, Jamie (Orson) Thompson; 11 grandchildren, two brothers: Duane (Erma Lou) Jones, Norman (Gaylynn) Childs; and sister, Marie Wagstaff. Preceded In Death By: His father and mother; two sisters, Verona Jones and Glenna Jones Hooley; and brother-in-law, Mack Wagstaff.
