Bio
Anna was born September 17, 1869 in Illinois to Wilhelm Theodor Elias and Louisa Maria Charlotte Schroeder Sagert. She was the first-born of four children. Anna grew up on the farm and on July 7, 1886 she married Christian Carl Cords. Together they had seven children, all of whom lived to adulthood. Anna and Chris died just three months apart in 1935. Anna and her younger sister, Emma, married brothers-Chris and William Cords. In the 1910 and 1920 Censuses, Anna and Chris were farming, but by 1930 there is no occupation listed for either. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ May your spirit be with the Lord
