SERVICES HELD FOR DELLA CHRISMER SATURDAY Funeral service for a long time Yuma resident, Della Mae Chrismer were conducted Saturday, July 10, from the Morris Funeral Chapel with Rev. Frank Harvey in charge. Della Mae Chrismer was born May 12, 1897 to John and Agnes Naab in their homestead near Comstock, Nebraska. She passed away July 7, 1965 at the age of 68 years, 1 month and 25 days. She attended grade and normal schools in Nebraska then came to Yuma where she taught school two years at the North School. On April 1, 1921, She and W.J. Chrismer of Yuma were married in Littleton and returned to Yuma where they established their home. To this union three children were born. She was baptised in and joined the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints at an early age. She was an active member of the American Legion Auxiliary for many years, an active member of P.E.O. until her illness and a member of the [?] Club. Mrs. Chrismer died at the Renotta Rest Home in Wray after a prolonged illness. She is survived by her husband, W.J. Chrismer of Yuma; Jane Hale of Newark, Ohio, and Jean Balderston of Yuma; a son William J. of Brush; and their respective families including ten grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. Three brothers and one sister are also living. In passing she leaves many other relatives and friends.--Yuma Pioneer, Thursday, July 15, 1965, Pg. 1
