Bio
Jacob Novak, 66, of Pleasant Dale died on October 27 in Lincoln. Funeral services were held on October 30 at Kuncl Chapel with interment at Wyuka Cemetery. Rev. Wm. G. Stype Jr officiated. Mr. Novak was born on July 25, 1901 in Czechslovakia and came to this country with his parents at the age of two. He was married June 7, 1927 to Emily Dedic, and they had one daughter. He is survived by his wife; daughter, Norma Jean Spicka; granddaughter, Noreen; son-in-law, Donald Spicka; three brothers, Adolph Novak of Dorchester, Emil Novak of Crete, John Novak of North Platte; three sisters, Mary Sedlacek of David City, Stella Prochaska of Milford, and Frances Daniel of Beatrice and many nieces and nephews.
