Norma Jean (Novak) Spicka, age 90, of Lincoln Nebraska, died August 4, 2021. Widow of Donald D. Spicka after 53 1/2 years of marriage. Survived by daughter, Noreen (Jim) Moore; granddaughter, Carrie (Ed) Conley; and she cared for her great granddaughter, Maura James, the first 24 months of her life; special friends, Bill and Linda Coleman. Norma graduated from Milford High School. She was active in the PTA and was past president. She worked various jobs. She was a florist, worked for a sodding company, at a liquor store and at UNL, in the Sociology department. She was a Deacon and an Elder of Second Presbyterian Church and was a proud member of Eastern Star, Myrtle chapter no. 94. She solicited funds for many causes, including the Capital Humane Society and was a frequent blood donor at Nebraska Community Blood Bank. Norma went on many travels with her good friend, Lois Rich.
