Bio

Written by Contributor: P Phillips (50864461) Pearl was my great grandmother's sister, and there were many family stories about her since she was quite a character. I recall her as a sweet, short little lady with great energy and a high pitched voice. It was well known that she had started dipping snuff at 5 years old and was quite adept at hitting a spittoon at a considerable distance. When she was 75 years old, she decided to quit snuff. Someone asked her why she decided to quit after 70 years. Her answer: "Too nasty!"
