DISCREPANCY: Year of birth on headstone is 1881; obituary has 1883. __________ Funeral service was conducted from the Nazarene church for Bessie Anna Sigmon at two o'clock Saturday afternoon, with the Rev. M.G. Carpenter officiating. Burial was made in the Yuma cemetery, with Morris Mortuary in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Sigmon died at the age of 64 years, 8 months and 27 days. The following is the life sketch prepared by the family and read at the service. Bessie Stull was born July 9, 1883, at Plattsmouth, Neb. In 1904 she was united in marriage to Ward J. Sigmon in Weaubleau, Mo., where they lived for a short time, and then moved to Burr, Neb. She lived in Nebraska until 1930, and since that time has lived near Yuma and in Wyoming She is survived by nine children, Marie Younker and Delbert Sigmon of Yuma, Vera Peters of Ogalala, Neb., Opal Pinchard of Hayward, Calif., Harry of Sacramento, Calif., George and Eldredge of Lovell, Wyo., Victor of Otis and Cecil of Bonneville, Wyo. Also surviving are three sisters, one brother, 28 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
