Bio

Oral Dean Hansen, 91, of Lehi, passed away on May 4, 2006, from causes incident to age. He was born September 29, 1914, in Lehi, Utah, to Svend Peter and Della Florance Halsey Hansen. He married Mary Elizabeth Cranney on September 28, 1941. She passed away on October 8, 2001. He farmed for most of his life, served in the Army, and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Lehi 9th Ward. He was a good man and a good father. He is survived by his son, Lloyd Hansen; and daughter, Ora Dee Rawlings; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a brother, John (Marjorie) Hansen; a sister, Fern Carter, all of Lehi. He is preceded in death by his wife; and a daughter, Shirly Hall. Graveside services will be held Monday, May 8, 2006, at 3 p.m., in the Lehi City Cemetery. Friends and family may call at the 9th Ward Chapel, 465 E. 300 North, Lehi, from 2-2:45 p.m. The family would like to give a special thanks to the Hospice program and First Choice for their loving care.
