Bio
Bina Reat, 75, of Katy, passed away on Friday, July 29, 2011. She was born to Joe & Mary Barcuch of Granger, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Reat; daughter, Sabina Reat, and brother, Joboy Barcuch. Survived by two daughters, Linda Turner of Brookshire, TX and Pennie McCauley of Orchard, TX; four grandchildren, Misty Stegall and husband Michael of Brookshire, TX, Nikolle Chaney and husband Dan of Sealy, TX, Ericka Pelligrino and husband Chris of League City, TX, and Derrick McCauley of Katy; five great grandchildren; and two sisters, Betty Zimmerhanzel or Circleville, TX and Carol Stoneman of McQueeney, TX. She is also survived by her two special cousins that were always there to listen, Mildred Green of Thorndale, TX and Barbara Oswald of Crawford, TX; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and her special friend Don Gibbons of Houston, TX. A memorial service will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 2, 2011, at the Schmidt Funeral Home Chapel, in Katy, with Rev. Jerry Thomas officiating. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 6, 2011, at the Calvary Cemetery in Granger, Texas.
