Obituaries Athens Daily Review Lola Lorene Bailey Services for Lola Lorene Bailey, 80, of Canton are scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Eubank Memorial Chapel in Mabank with the Rev. Steve DeShazo and the Rev. C.E. Patton officiating. Burial will follow in the Old Bethel Cemetery in Van Zandt County under the direction of Eubank Funeral Home of Mabank. Mrs. Bailey died Jan. 22, 1999, in Athens following a short illness. She was born Dec. 12, 1918, in Palestine to Josh Robert and Anna Pearl Easley Bailey. Previously of Ardmore, Okla., Mrs. Bailey had resided in Canton since 1985 and was a member of the First Missionary Baptist Church in Mabank. She loved gardening and quilting. Mrs. Bailey was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Walter Sandford Bailey; a son, Kenneth Ray Bailey; and one granddaughter, Rene'. She is survived by her sons, Robert S. Bailey and his wife, Dorothy, of Payne Springs; Richard R. Bailey and his wife, Donna, of Canton; and Thomas G. Bailey and his wife, Carolyn, of Cedar Hill; daughter, Fran Latham of Round Rock; 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Margaret Bailey of Lewisville; seven sisters; and other family members and a host of friends. Pallbearers include Rob, Rick, Joe, Brian, Dean, Mike, Kenneth and Travis Bailey.
