Bio

74 yrs. 2 mos. 16 da. Bethany. Mrs. Sarah Roney died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Travis, Friday, aged 71. She was first married to John Staley, who died in the army. She afterward married Joshua Roney, who preceded her several years. Mrs. Roney leaves three daughters, Mrs. John Travis, Mrs. John and Mrs. Caloway Marlow, and two sisters, Mrs. T.H. Crowder and Mrs. A.H. Morgan. Elder Herman conducted the funeral at John Travis' Saturday and the remains were laid to rest in the cemetery at Wilburn Creek. The Daily Review; Decatur, Illinois. John and Joseph were brothers.
