Thanks to Contributor M. Jensen Seggerman, #47078678, for the following: Suggested Edit: Anna Ondrak, daughter of Albert and Mary Novak, was born February 4, 1873, in Predbov, Czechoslovakia. She passed away at the Geneva General Hospital Friday, September 11, 1953, at the age of 80 years, 7 months and 7 days. She came to the United States making her home with an uncle, Fred Novak of Haddam, Kas. In 1892 she was married to Charles Ondrak, who preceded her in death 46 years ago. To them were born five daughters, Mayme (Mrs. Antone Novak) of Orland, Cal.; Helen, (Mrs. Lad Petracek) of Cicero, Ill.; Emma (Mrs. Clyde Skoglund) of Geneva; Mollie Funderburk of East Northport, Long Island, New York, and Ella (Mrs. Lewis Grote) of Milligan, with whom she spent her declining years. She had been a loving mother, a faithful worker for her community and fraternal organizations, to which she devoted much of her time, being a member of Cechie of Z.C.B.J. and the Royal Neighbors of America. She was preceded in death by her husband, father, mother; three brothers and one sister. She is survived by five daughters; one step-daughter; seven brothers; one sister; 14 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; three step-grandchildren and other relatives. Funeral services were held from the Milligan auditorium Sunday, September 13, at 2 o'clock with Charles Smrha as speaker. Mrs. Jerry Hendrych Sr. spoke in behalf of Lodge Cechie. Mrs. E. A. Have and Mrs. James Hamouz gave the song service, accompanied by Mrs. Milo Kottas at the organ. burial was in the South Cemetery beneath a blanket of beautiful floral tributes. Pallbearers were Albert Kassik Sr., Fred Kovanda, James Cecrle, Harry Soukup, Louis Suda and Joseph Duba. The Nebraska Signal 17 Sept. 1953
