Clyde Nichols WINNSBORO Funeral services for Clyde D. Nichols, 74, of Pickton are scheduled at 2 p.m. Monday in the Tabernacle Baptist Church in Pickton. The Rev. James Thompson, the Rev. Don Rogers and the Rev. Jesse Miller will officiate. Burial will be in the New Pickton Cemetery under the direction of McCrary-Edwards-Cain Funeral Home of Winnsboro. Mr. Nichols died Sunday morning at his home after a sudden illness. A native and lifelong resident of Pickton, Mr. Nichols was a retired farmer and rancher. He was a member of the Tabernacle Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Annie Laurie Nichols of Pickton; four sons, Willie Lee Nichols and Carroll Nichols, both of Pickton, Jack Nichols of Mineola and Lynch Nichols of Dallas; one daughter, Mrs. Betty Ratliff of Oklahoma City; one brother, Earl Nichols, Pickton; 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
