Bio

Mary Zona Case, 92, of Mount Vernon died Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2009, in Mount Vernon. Services will be held at 4 p.m. Friday, Jan. 16, at Harvey Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Pete Adrian officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Vernon City Cemetery under the direction of Sam B. Harvey Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Alan Van Hoozer, Gary Bench, Larry Bench, Jackie Anderson, Ronnie Burns and Terry Case. Mrs. Case was born on Jan. 2, 1917, in Sulphur Bluff, the daughter of J.C. Banister and Fannie M. Dennis Banister. She is survived by a brother-in-law, R.A. Lawrence of Mount Vernon; two nieces, Beth Bench of Mount Vernon and Sharon Anderson of Rowlett; a great-niece, three great-nephews and three great-great-great nieces. She was preceded in death by her husband Alton Case in 1977.
