Bio

Daughter of Henry Mallett and Mary Brimacombe Mallett. She never married. She died at the age of 87 at her residence at 5 Arbuthnot Road, New Cross S.E. She shares a headstone with her father. Her death certificate erroneously indicates her father's name was John and that her middle name was Thorne (her sister's middle name) (The informant was her nephew Frederick). Her Book of Common Prayer that she gave to her brother Frederick when he emigrated to Australia has the initials H.M.M. engraved on the cover, which indicates her middle initial was M.
