Wife of Methodist Minister & college president The Oklahoman, 1 Sep 1976: 15.2 Mrs Dencie A. Williamson, 83, of Brooklyn, NY, died Monday in a Brooklyn hospital following a brief illness. Memorial services will be held at 2 pm Thursday at Wesley United Methodist Church, Oklahoma City, and visitors will be greeted at Guardian Midtown Funeral Home from 7 to 9 pm Wednesday. Private burial will be Thursday morning directed by Guardian Midtown. Born in Pleasanton, KS, Mrs Williamson formerly served the Methodist churches in Oklahoma and surrounding states several years. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs Mary Lee McClure, Irving, TX; Mrs Ruth Dowling, Brussels, Belgium; Mrs Roberta Grossman, Brooklyn, NY; 15 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
