Bio

Thanks to Contributor M. Jensen Seggerman, #47078678, for the following: Wednesday, August 28 at 1 p.m. occurred the funeral of Frank Fujan Sr., who departed this life on the morning of August 26, at the age of almost eighty-seven years. Since his aged wife died a few years ago he was unable to care for himself and made his home among his children and for the last several months was continually with his daughter, Mrs. Joseph Suda, east of town. Frank Fujan came to this country from Bohemia, settling first on a farm in Saunders County, and from there moving to Fillmore County, living in the neighborhood of Milligan for twenty-five years. The surviving children are Mrs. Mary Schultz of Huron, S. D., and Joseph, Frank, Anton, Lewis, Mrs. Fanny Suda and Mrs. Josephine Jansky, all of this vicinity. The services were held at the Suda home, C. Smrha delivering the funeral address. The body was interred in the cemetery south of town by the side of that of his wife. Frank Schultz Sr. of Huron, S. D. attended the funeral. Mrs. Schultz, who has recently returned from the hospital at Rochester, Minn., was unable to make the trip to attend the funeral of her father.
