The Oklahoman, Tuesday, March 4, 1986: Ione Pylant Gray, 78, of OKC, died Monday, March 3, 1986, after a long illness. She was born March 19, 1907 in Cash (Cache), OK and has been a resident of OKC since 1958 having moved from Elmore City. Mrs Gray was the widow of the late Rev. James V. Gray and had been employed by the Motor Vehicle Division of the Oklahoma Tax Commission for many years. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and Order of the Eastern Star. Survivors include a son, James L. Gray and a daughter, Florene Crockett, both of OKC; 5 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Services will be at Trinity Baptist Church at 10 am Wednesday, March 5, with interment in Rose Hill Cemetery. Arrangements by Guardian Midtown Funeral Home. -----------------
