Bio

Herald Coaster, April 15, 1969: Funeral services for Mrs. George A. Buls, 62, of Damon, were held at 1 p.m. Sunday in the United Methodist Church in East Bernard, with the Rev. Verlon E. Fellner officiating. Burial was in Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg. Mrs. Buls died about 9 p.m. Friday in Polly Ryon Memorial Hospital. She was a resident of Damon for 38 years. Survivors include her husband, George A. Buls; a daughter, Mrs. Joyce Otto of Needville; two granddaughters, Deborah and Laurie Otto, both of Needville; brothers, Delbert O. Brandes and Raymond L. Brandes, both of East Bernard, Thurman Brandes of Houston, and Allan P. Brandes of Temple; three sisters, Mrs. Viola Ruff and Mrs. Oscie Kroll, both of Houston, and Mrs. Verla Seale of Dallas. Pallbearers were Jimmy Gillen, Joe Biry, M.M. Goldsmith, Lonnie Nordt, Ruben Powell, G.M. Dement, Irvin Foytik, and Nathan Boles.
