Bio

Herald Coaster, June 6, 1980: Funeral services for George A. Buls, 81, of Damon, were held at 1 p.m. Friday at the First United Methodist Church in East Bernard. Burial was in Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg. Buls died June 5 at Polly Ryon Memorial Hospital. He was the owner of a general store in Damon and was a member of the Shriners. Survivors include his daughter, Joyce Otto of Needville; sister, Olga Buls Bielstein of New Braunfels; brother, Ed Buls of Sealy; and two granddaughters. The family requests memorials be made to the First United Methodist Church in East Bernard. Funeral services were under the direction of Garmany & Carden Funeral Home in Rosenberg.
