FORT WORTH - Albert Robert Shockey, 91, died Thursday, Jan. 2, 2003, at his home. Funeral: 11 a.m. Saturday in Oakwood Cemetery, 701 Grand Ave., Fort Worth. Visitation: 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Road, Hurst. Memorials: Mosiah Temple, Box 1320, Fort Worth, Texas 76101; Scottish Rite Hospital, Box 199300, Dallas, Texas 75219-9300; or Vitas Hospice, 2501 Parkview Drive, Suite 600, Fort Worth, Texas 76102. Albert Shockey was a member of Mosiah Temple for 60 years and a 32nd-degree Mason. He was employed with Ellison's Furniture Co. for 45 years. Albert was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. He was predeceased by his parents, brothers, sisters and loving wife of 67 years, Vela A Shockey. Survivors: Daughters, Judy Latimore Weidel and husband, Jay, of Fort Worth and Linda McCowen and husband, Pat, of Irving; grandchildren, Linda Lue Thomas and husband, Rick, Robert Lattimore and wife, Nicoma, Suzanne McCowen and Mallory McCowen; great-granddaughter, Kirstie Wixom; and numerous nieces and nephews.
