Fort Bend Herald, May 17, 2009: Rosie Lee Pieper, 77, went to be with her Lord and loved ones Thursday, May 14, 2009. Funeral services are 10 a.m. Monday, May 18, at St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church, following in procession to Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg. Visitation is 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday, May 17 at St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church, 9122 Church St. in Needville. Rosie Lee was born Jan. 12, 1932, in Needville, to Adolph and Agnes Marchak. She was a member of St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church, American Legion Auxiliary Post No. 350, and S.P.J.S.T. Lodge No. 81 of Needville. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Eddie Lee Pieper; and parents, Adolph and Agnes Marchak. She is survived by her daughters, Rosemary Pieper, Tammy Moore and husband, Mike, and Kimberly Stammann and husband, Chris; son, Leslie Pieper and wife, Sherrie; grandchildren: Ryan, Braxtin, Orin, Leah, Stephanie, Nathan, Michelle and Monica; great-grandchildren, Taylor and Caleb Moore. The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations may be made on behalf of Rosie Lee to St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church. The family thanks the Rev. Charles Teykl, the staff of Triumph Hospital in Sugar Land, and Fort Bend EMS for all their help. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Johanna Compean, Funeral Director for E.P.
