Bio
Obituary: Homer Atlee Leedom , 75, passed away on Jan. 16, 2000. Mr. Leedom was a retired Navy veteran with service in World War II. He was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church and was a past grand knight with the Knights of Columbus. He was also a member of the South Hampton Roads NTrak Club. He was a loving husband, brother and grandfather who will be deeply missed. Survivors include three daughters, Ruth Ann Wilson, Mary P. Leedom and Sheila L. Koenig; a son, Leonard G. Leedom ; a sister, Helen Bahr; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Mr. Leedom was preceded in death by his wife, Jean Leedom , and seven brothers and sisters. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Kellum Funeral Home, Bonney Road Chapel, with a wake service to begin at 7 p.m. A funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Nicholas Catholic Church.
