She died on 8 March 1925, in Cozad, Dawson, Nebraska, United States, at the age of 37, and was buried in Cozad, Dawson, Nebraska, United States. ================= Grand Island (Nebraska) Herald; Thursday, 12 March 1925, page 5 Mrs. Ella Louise Black, wife of Edward Black, of Cozad, died at the St. Francis hospital in this city (Grand Island) about 2:30 p.m. Sunday, following an operation for cancer of the stomach, to which she submitted about a month ago. She was 36 years of age and is survived by her husband and a daughter, Elva, aged 14. The remains were taken to Cozad, Neb., for burial on Monday morning accompanied by relatives.
