Hutchison, who passed away at the General hospital, having been hospitalized since Sunday. Born and reared in this community he was for years an active farmer-rancher and since retiring from this work has assisted in various capacities throughout this area. During the war he was employed in a munitions plant at Hawthorne, Nevada and it was while working there he first learned of a heart ailment which had forced him to retire from all forms of strenuous work. Last week he suffered a heart attack while visiting his sister, Mrs. Sid Cox, near Nenzel. Returning to Valentine these attacks recurred and he was taken to the hospital where his chances of survival were pronounced very remote.
