Bio
VIRGINIA BEACH - Ernest Aubrey Graham, 82, passed peacefully from the arms of his loving family to serve his final tour of duty with our Lord. Born in Crockett, Texas, he was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Ruby Graham of Palestine, Texas and his loving wife of 53 years, Elizabeth J. Graham. He was born the second of 10 children and is survived by two daughters, Sandra Graham Parrish and Deborah Griffin and son Aubrey Graham Jr.; three grandchildren, Staci Graham, Kerbe Graham and Graham Malone; two great-grandchildren, Aaron and Riley Malone. He joined the U.S. Navy in 1944 and retired after 28 years with honor and valor as a decorated and highly respected officer. He was a Master Mason at Kempsville Lodge. Visitation will be held April 3 at 10 a.m. with services following at 11 a.m. at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Greenwich Road. Interment will be held at Rosewood Memorial Park, Witchduck Road, following services. Published in The Virginian Pilot on April 2, 2010
